I love nothing more than the combination of a great car, a great roadand a great playlist! I like how small the thing is. It fits very easily in my console and leaves lots of room. I'm considering mounting it to the underside of the armrest with velcro or something to keep it even more out of the way. Confusingly many will have Bluetooth hands free functionality(mine has this) but without the kit to enable audio streaming. Can I retrofit Bluetooth audio streaming to my E87 BMW 1 Series? if the mmi says the tune2air isnt connected, reset the mmi with three buttons, will then reboot and should connect to the tune to air fine. They rely on the availability of a free FM channel which is notguaranteed and the quality that they stream across is garbage. It's annoying that there are times where I do NOT want to listen to music BUT still want to listen to sound coming out from my phone. If the iPhone is also connected via Bluetooth for the handsfree phone, then the music cuts out every once in a while, more often in the beginning when the phone book is syncing, but it also does it after it's been connected for a while. Not so much that's its annoying, but almost. If I connect the MMI handsfree to my Windows Phone, the iPhone/Tune2Air music never cuts out.

My phone (iPhone 6) is connected via bluetooth to the car for calls, and via bluetooth to the Tune2Air for streaming. Works great...BUT... every time the phone is connected to the WMA1000 AND "Media" is selected from the Audi console, it WILL start Google Play Music automatically. I tried pressting the "stop" button from the Android phone.. it stop for 2 seconds, then music starts again. First, I start my music streaming source of choice on my phone prior to utilizing Tune2Air. My Bae has a Hyundai Elantra truth be told it has more wiz bang features than the Audi including the seat heaters in the Hyundai miles above the Audi. It sounds fine. I am used to the sound from Sirius and I would say it is about the same quality. I was expecting worse so I guess I am satisfied. Yes – you absolutely CAN retrofit a Bluetooth audio streaming kit to your car to enable music to be played wirelessly. I'm looking at getting the Tune2Air to allow music to be streamed remotely by Bluetooth but have read up that there are a few versions of the Tune2Air.

Whenever I change my car I set about ensuringthat I can stream my music playlists (alright, I really want the podcasts!) from Spotify through the stereo. As you have probably noticed by now I have a preference to keep the interior as OEM as possible– including retaining steering wheeland headunit controls! Anyone with the update been able to skip songs on spotify/pandora with the physical buttons on the main car console? When I press mine with my old firmware it starts my iTunes and skips to the second song. So annoying. Also, do song names from spotify finally show up on the dash? As a serial second handcar buyer it can be hit-or-miss on whether the car I‘ve chosen has Bluetooth connectivityor not – and even if it does sometimes it isn’t possible to stream audio anyway. Lately I've been having more issues with it. I think it started with the most recently Spotify update, so Spotify is likely the real problem here, but it has me re-evaluating my Bluetooth setup. What is everyone doing for their bluetooth music setup now? Has a newer, better device come out? Any chance for a firmware upgrade that will allow me to just play my music without an adapter? realized what happened with mine, fyi, when you're doing the upgrade, make sure bluetooth is turned OFF on your phone! otherwise Windows won't recognize the device

Power button on the console mutes the car stereo and pauses audio on the phone as you would expect. If you value OEM integration, ease of useand you DO NOTwant to rip your car interior apart then there is really only one option… a Tune2Air! I took a leap and bought Tune2Air for BT streaming from an iPhone to MMI2G B&O. I mainly use it for streaming Spotify, and it's worked really well so far–at least well enough that I consider the problem solved.Don't know what the talk is about 32 pin. I'm fairly certain it's a 30 pin iPod connection in the glove box. (ie iPod classic etc)
