About this deal

This is a very good fragrance, good-quality stylish and somewhat oriental. I feel here perfectly all the components of the base- tonka, sandalwood and vanilla. Exactly them, I feel right from the start and up to the finish. Thankfully, in recent years, I have seen many other people starting to talk more about this, reaching out without being ashamed. Addict to my nose, is quite a warm, sensual, but understandable fragrance. It isn't swoon-worthy to me, nor is it insane if undersprayed or applied moderately. I actually do not feel as if this pushes boundaries now in today's climate, but it could've been that way in it's early years (nearly 2 whole dang decades ago). I don't really feel as if it's overtly sexy, but I don't profess to understand the mind of a heterosexual male and their preferences, and won't argue with it. *I* don't feel any type of way in this, merely comfortable and warm. It's a cozy fragrance (this is very, very similar to my thoughts on Armani Code Pour Femme...and they have an extremely similar personality).

This is an extraordinarily unique, sexy, beastly bomb of a fragrance. It is not for the meek and mild. This is your outgoing fun flirty alcohol loving party friends perfume. This is a perfume for those who like to be noticed. The only reason I bought this is because as I was at the store staring at all the POISON bottles by DIOR, I remembered that a small YouTuber had mentioned how Dior Addict was SO UNDERRATED and it was a beast. And truthfully, buying a “vintage” fragrance isn’t that great idea. The risk of buying an old bottle and getting a dud is around 50% every time. This is a boozy, warm, woody/spicy/floral vanilla masterpiece. It has so much depth and warmth with the woods and spices that it gets away with being far sweeter than my usual preferences. Its deserving of its reputation as a classic, and the 2012 and 2014 formulas really should be considered flankers, not new versions. It smells like nothing else- so unique, and yet so solidly recognizable and lasts forever. Weirdly, except for Midnight Poison, I dislike ALL the "people who like this also like" scents, so its really worth trying without pigeonholing it with other sweet, strong popular scents. My optician wears this (I asked). Mellow, floral vanilla with teenniest wafts of amber for extra interest. Put it this way, I enjoyed getting my eyes tested. I saw the prices, pretty punchy, but this is very good so worth paying for. Immediately after spraying I got what smelled like a spiced vanilla, followed by a white floral bouquet that I could smell within elbow's length and a hint of powderiness. It's a lot greener than I expected, but with a slight vanilla undertone. I feel like I'm smelling crushed leaves a bit. Recognizing this potential issue, and dealing with perfume buying addiction taboo on time can save you a lot of money and make the perfume hobby a much more enjoyable experience.

During the last decade, I have seen two different kinds of perfume collectors. Those who are happy with few fragrances and those who own many. First things first, take a look at how many perfumes you already own, and how many of them you are actually using more than a couple of times per year. When we put things into a certain perspective, enjoying the perfume hobby ain’t that hard. By avoiding rat-race, the pressure to being on top, or having the newest flanker from the line, one starts to enjoy what’s already in the collection. My aunt gave me some perfume samples and I saw this. Sprayed some on my wrist, didn't mind the liquid browning...it was love at first sniff 😭 Addict easily could have been an exclusive release, and a good one. It takes you on a long journey from its pleasantly sharp green opening,

Here are a couple of the recognized traits of a shopping addiction that also applies to perfume shopping:Dior Addict won't be my choice but definitely it is luxury, appellative and sensual perfume for confident women. I love this perfume, and although I’m biased because of the memories attached, I honestly think it’s Dior's best scent. It’s vanilla, it’s green, it’s floral, it’s woody, but it’s blended so well that none of the accords overshadow any of the others. They all mix together to bring out the best in each other.
