About this deal

Richer and longer lasting Prada Luna Rossa Sport. To me, this smells more similar to Prada Sport and Le Male than the OG Armani Code, the original code is sharper and more citrusy up top whereas the EDP is smoother and more rounded overall. It’s like what I wanted Acqua di Gio or Cool Water to be, but Armani Code doesn’t have the salty element those marine fragrances have. Particularly, I just have a problem with this scent: I can't wear it for two days in a row, since something about it makes me tired, making impossible the idea of having it as my olfactory signature. Performance is exactly what you would expect with an EDP as it lasted 10-16 hours but with moderate projection the first hour but afterwards a little more than a skin scent BUT with good silage.

I even get the Le Male LP lavender cardamom accord but the iris is missing, citruses added. The vanilla is mixed with tonka and woods, so if you know how Versace Eros smells just imagine that vanilla accord but without the mint.I know this has been reformulated and it's weak. But... It is still the best one. I have tried amazing Profumo and I have it as well as the Absolu one. The Absolu Gold is a masterpiece!! But... the OG is still the best one. Yes it doesn't last but the softness of it. The notes... not one flanker after hit the nail on the head like the original and they are all in the shadow of the OG. If any of the flankers would get discontinued, people wouldn't mind much but we all would mind if they axed the legendary Code. Gives me some Midnight in Paris vibes in the mid and drydown, could be a nice option if you want to replace it and not paying too much for another bottle. It also lasts longer on me so that's another nice point. This is my favourite smelling designer fragrance of all time but such a shame the performance isn’t what it once was. I also have Absolu which for me doesn’t come close for smell (over-rated smell in my opinion) but far out-performs the original in longevity. Before the Bleu de Chanels, Sauvages, Dior Hommes, Laytons and Le Males, this was the king of modern mass appealing masculine scents. The scent seems nice but it doesn’t speak to me personally as I am looking for the fragrance to wear during day time but this is speak Night for me.

If the vintage was a beast mode performer, I can confirm that the current formulation certainly is not. You can get this for a pretty good price so I'm not complaining too very much about the performance - I'm perfectly okay with re-application if it's a fragrance I enjoy and it's not a fortune, but after around the 90-minute mark it's basically a skin scent (at least on me). Here we go with Code EDP I am testing now with 1,2 ml tester. Even though EDT and EDP have slightly different note pyramid, I am getting exactly the same impression I remember from EDT. Maybe it's something I get from any code family flanker in general. Middle notes are Star Anise, Olive Blossom and Guaiac Wood: Maybe the faintest light wood smell drowning in powder Of course at the time I was too young to even know what the hell "notes" were in a fragrance. I just enjoyed the smell. And I remember one time when I was in the elevator of my apartment complex at the time. I was in there with 3 other random girls in their mid 20's, all smoking hot. One of them exclaimed "someone smells REALLY good in here". Me being the awkward 15 year old didn't say a word LOL. So cringy. But a funny memory.

Inspired by the elements of nature, the Giorgio Armani fragrances are an example of invisible sophistication. A symbol of perfection and harmony. From a skilful blend of the most beautiful raw materials, Giorgio Armani creates perfume that’s timeless and vibrant, but fluid and simple. As far a projection and sillage, it’s not really a beast. I can report a decent 6-8 hrs of longevity which is a bit of a let down considering this is supposed to be a more concentrated EDP version but the fragrance itself makes up for it.
