About this deal

Oh wow, I fell in love with this all over again. So beautiful, fresh, cheerful, carefree, really like a day spent on the beach enjoying a cold drink and a light fashion magazine, or having fun with your friends.

Uplifting peppermint rosemary geranium neroli (Prozac in a fragrance) perfectly balanced with sexy base notes to solidify you are happy energetic yet masculine with a youthful oceanic calone watery note that keeps this youthful and forever in your 20's. It opens with a lot of citrus, and this phase is okay. It soon turns sweet melon-calone, and the drydown is a strange acrid mix of berries and lotus. Very noughties. I might have liked it when I was young, but at this point in life it seems to be a scent that gives off the impression of a girl I used to be in my 20s (during the noughties, really..) and the message I get here is: ` I don`t really know what I want, and that is exactly what I project with this scent here..` It is kind of a young scent, for that matter, and I`m in my late 30s..Therefore I`d probably recommend this to someone in their early twenties of today - but it is not for myself. The only blue frag I've had was and is Nautica Voyage and I really like Voyage but comparing it to CW I personally think CW smells better.Ten years after the successful launch of Cool Water for men, women’s version was finally released. The scent is very calm with aquatic notes that remind us of ocean breeze and cool sea-water, fruits and woods. Top notes are luscious, cool and aquatic with Citrus, Honeydew Melon, Quince, Pineapple, Lotus and Lily. Heart notes are gentle flowers; May Rose, Jasmine and Muguet. Base notes are Musk, Vanilla, Peach, Sandalwood, Orris and Vetiver. Cool Water was created by Pierre Bourdon in 1996. I remember this smell following me around at school as everyone seemed to be wearing it as a must-have for some reason. It should be in EVERY collector's collection simply because it Fathered modern fragrance. It sent a ripple through the fragrance industry for sure. So masculine, so sexy, so ASSERTIVE but so cool. This fragrance smells martian to me. Nowadays fragrances play with mixing masculinity and femininity but Cool Water doesn't play any of the charades. At all lol.

For reasons of hygiene and safety, personal grooming products, cosmetics or items of intimate clothing cannot be returned. Davidoff introduced Cool Water for Women a decade following the original Cool Water for Men, and it's like a refreshing dip in the ocean. This floral aquatic fragrance exudes a serene aura reminiscent of ocean breezes and cooling seawater, accompanied by a fusion of fruits and woods. Overall it’s pretty close to the skin and not super long lasting. It smells slightly too masculine and powdery for my preference. I don’t like it but it is a cheapie. I wore Cool Water as an early teen because I wanted to smell grown. It gives a very intense ozonic blast to your senses at first. However, it does mellow out after about half an hour. I would argue that it isnt so much fresh as it is salty. It is definitely sporty, but I'd caution anyone from using it to try and cover up gym funk.

when i first bought it,it was at the beginning of 2020,first thing that came to my mind is the OCEAN,SUN,HAPPINESS,WATER !! |Cool Water is fresh and sharp, simple and very masculine. Top notes include mint and green nuances, lavender, coriander and rosemary. The heart notes include geranium, neroli, jasmine and sandalwood. The base is composed of cedarwood, musk, amber and tobacco. It was created by Pierre Bourdon in 1988. Someone wrote "It's been awhile since I've owned this juice, but I've smelled a lot of scents since then that have copied this one, so that says quite abit about it. Creed - Green Irish Tweed totally copied this scent. Perhaps that's why I never thought of Creed as an original house or I haven't bought any of their scents." A gift from my then-boyfriend, now-husband - I loved this perfume! I wore it to my first job and received quite a few compliments. I love the aquatic freshness, it's a fun, lovely scent. That said, I'm not swooning. It's a simple scent which may actually reside best with the bath and body products. Sillage and longevity of the fragrance are very modest, on me at least. I even suspect that the body lotion may have more heft than the fragrance.

GIT lasts longer, projects more, richer, deeper, more complex, greener and dries down muskier than CW. I own GIT but only wear it on special(ish) occasions. I bought Cool Water for every day in the house. Still love the smell the only problem is I can barely smell it as soon as it’s on me. It’s like eating something, tastes very good untill you’ve eat it a few seconds later.Aspen in its mighty mint green apple opening and lavender heart was such an easy one to enjoy. Not to be outdone the marine coolness and lavender top notes of cool water smelled refreshing as a drink on a hot day. It is summer in a bottle. It is watery and floral and fruity but not super sweet fruity. It is fresh. This is a day outside on a picnic.

Both are ALL TIME greats. GIT is obviously "better" because of the quality ingredients and performance, but CW is so cheap you can just douse yourself in it (which I do) and constantly re-apply. Crafted of translucent blue glass accented with silver rings, the iconic curved bottle shimmers softly, like a treasure from the sea. Sometimes (many times even) I actually prefer the sweeter more aquatic Cool Water over the greener-leaning GIT. Formulation for Sale: No No No No No. They changed this so much, it is unrecognizable from the original. Try it out in an official store selling the new formula first. A muddled dishwater attempt at a replica. It's missing the pine/rosemary-like top notes, and the aqueous notes are near non-existent. It's missing the elegance. The way the classic scent would shift and take you on a journey, is gone. They should have named this new formula something else and just said that they discontinued the original. Yes, it is true that our noses and olfactory senses change as we grow and become accustomed to newer scents in life. However, the extreme manner in which Cool Water has been destroyed is not simply due to maturing olfactory senses. What Davidoff has done to Cool Water is a tragedy and it is very real.Only now much older and more exposed to other Parfume houses did I realise that it’s very much like GIT. CW is marketed for the beach, GIT is marketed as a walk in a green countryside however smell very similar.
