An exceptional and endearing story set in captivating rhythmic style – making it an excellent read aloud text.
Jez is the author and illustrator of 48 books for children. In 2018 he published The Story of 'You' his first book for adults, the first in a series called Life Beyond Personality. He says: "We enter this world as pure Oneness, (what I call our ‘original state of Being’) but we lose this as we become identified with our Personality. In that identification, the Stillness and Love of our Original State is overshadowed by the suffering of the Personality. Hi! My boys and I have been borrowing it from libraries and reading it for years! We just bought our own board book version.... My 18 month old just cant get enough of this...it must be read to him over and over...my four and six year olds love to comply when I am busy. My baby loves all the coloured pictures and the rhythm and rhyme here. He gets excited in anticipation of what's to come and it's a lovely opportunity to use different voices.

My son finds it funny and chooses this book over so many other great books.My daughter loves making the noises of the animals as they are introduced - and I know this book will be fab for her when she is older and starting to listen out for different sounds.
