About this deal

Caught in a web of assassins, Alex Cross enters the final battle with the all-knowing genius who has stalked him and his family for years. Dr. Alex Cross and Detective John Sampson venture into the rugged Montana wilderness—where they will be the prey.

In Along Came A Spider, Alex Cross is called in to investigate a case with two dead prostitutes and a baby. Not shortly after, Cross finds he has to contend with psychotic math teacher Gary Soneji. Soneji has kidnapped two children and Cross is pulled off the homicide to cover the kidnapping. Soneji strikes again and murders an FBI Agent who has been talking about Soneji on television. Cross scours the apartment and discovers Soneji’s obsession with the kidnappings and his dream of becoming famous as a criminal. What follows is an elaborate game as Soneji’s personality is unraveled and the mission to retrieve the children plays out. Great writer love the books BUT a first edition book should be in HARD COVER only. The soft cover books for later publications. I have a hard time finding some hard covers as I have most of the books Patterson has written, app 4 full book selfs Keep it up but more hardcover editions Thanks. Mr Gerry Reply Alex Cross enters the final battle with the all-knowing genius who has stalked him and his family for years. From the world's #1 bestselling author comes a thrilling new standalone novel where a detective duo of sisters finds themselves in the crosshairs of a dangerous and lawless group. I am a huge fan. I am also a very fast reader. You Mr. Patterson are the only author that has been able to keep up with my reading. I agree with one of your previous fans who said “please no more romance”. You know what your forte is and you are damn good at it. ReplyAlthough this book is part of a long running series I found it easy to read and the story flowed with just enough mention of previous happenings Fox, Jesse (18 October 2012). "An Alex Cross Sequel Is Already in the Works". Vulture . Retrieved October 18, 2012. Am I going blind Looking for True-Crime Thrillers Series “Murder Interrupted ” (2018) Books two stories Reply As listed above it’s part of the David Shelley series. Unfortunately, as of this time there is only the one book in that series. Reply I and my grandma was going through her James Patterson books and she has 32 books and the table is full and when I go to school I’m going to read them and take tests on them because she says that they are amazing and I never heard of them till we went thought the books and now I’m like i want to read every single one over and over again Reply

I loved this latest Alex Cross book! For me it felt like one of the early Cross books; the plot was exhilarating and non-stop, the twists never stopped coming and I always enjoy the characters. I am never too keen when plots start to focus too much on the central characters instead of an investigation angle, in this read, the case does focus around Cross and Sampson but in a good way, they are key to the investigation throughout, I enjoyed seeing where it took them and Patterson sets it up well for the next book in the series. Well worth reading for the storyline and characterisations, and a couple of the chapter-hooks are brilliant. Alex Cross is, in my opinion, James Patterson's finest creation and one of my favourite characters of all time. It's more than the crime solving, the suspense and the drama - it's the family as well, the fact that every character gets a story and no-one is wasted. For younger readers, this book alludes to a further 'Ali Cross' novel as well, which excites both my daughter and me - it's lovely for us both to be reading about the same characters, at the same time in their individual adventures. Dr. Alex Cross and Detective John Sampson venture into the rugged Montana wilderness—where they will be the prey.As always the thrill and darkness of death and evil is tempered by the beautiful Cross family and Nana mama's cooking. In 1997, the novel was adapted into a film starring Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross and Ashley Judd as Kate McTiernan.

I did not like to read when I was young and in school. But since I started to read your books they are all I read I would love to own them all. I will be handing them down to my son when I’m done with them all. Thanks for being a great author your books always makes me feel like on of the characters in the book. Reply No one gets this big without amazing natural storytelling talent - which is what Jim has, in spades. The Alex Cross series proves it ' Lee ChildThe change of location was fun for me, when the majority of these books are set in the City, it's enjoyable to take Alex out of his familiar surroundings. It's easy to feel as though Alex is always safe, surrounded by countless officers and in the safety of his City. To be out in the wild, vulnerable and open, certainly ups the ante! Alex Cross's Trial (2009): In this story within a story concept, Alex writes about one of his ancestors, Abraham Cross. I think your writing style draws people from 6yrs to 106 yrs to reading. I read an average of220 books a yr. I love your alex cross books and womens murder club also your stand alone. I start reading your books and cant stop there riveting and so good. I collect books and yours and some others. Reply
