About this deal

Colorized movies? I agreed until seeing Legend Films and what they did to "It's A Wonderful Life"; "IT Came From Beneath The Sea"; "Earth VS The Flying Saucers"; "20 Million Miles To Earth"& The 3 Stooges. Looks like they were shot on Kodachrome and was most impressed by the final results. My daughter will never know the b/w version of Wonderful Life, so that should lift your spirits.

Likewise, the audio mix of each film has been expanded to Dolby Atmos, which automatically unfolds to Dolby TrueHD 7.1 if your receiver does not Next, choose your output folder on the left-hand side and press the "Make MKV" button. It'll take awhile to rip, but when it's done, you'll have a big ol' MKV file on your hard drive--with the first half of the movie. Rename it to FOTR-D1.mkv and put it in a folder wherever you want. I created a folder on my desktop called "LOTR Re-Color", where I recommend storing all the video files, audio files, and scripts you end up creating for this project. MeGUI and MKVToolNix are portable applications, which means you don't need to install them--just unzip the files to any folder you want (I created folders called "MeGUI" and "MKVToolNix" in my "LOTR Re-Color" folder from Step One).

So those are The Hobbit films. It’s odd that the only one to include trailers is the Extended version of the final film, but there it is. The 4K discs are identical to those released in late 2020. The movie Blu-rays are identical to the previous releases too, except for the fact that the theatrical BDs are all missing the second Blu-ray of bonus content that originally came with each, and the Extended BDs are all missing the two Appendices Blu-rays that came with each. The Blu-ray 3-D versions of each film (both theatrical and Extended) are also not included. Disc 13 – The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – Theatrical Version (4K UHD) stand-alone releases, which goes for both the theatrical and stand-alone cuts of each film. Warner Bros.' new 4K collection serves up both cuts of all But is it worth the cost of this box set just to get the new content? No, it’s not… not in any way, shape, or form. Hairy Hobbit feet! We always knew the Hobbits had hairy feet, but perhaps we forgot how hairy they were. Along comes this new 4k upgrade and although there are not many closeups of their feet you can almost count the Hobbity hairs when pausing the video.

a rite of passage for fantasy-loving filmgoers since its completion in 2003. To date it has been available in a wide variety of formats, collections, and This set of 12 DVDs not only satisfies the ardent followers but also provides an immersive cinematic journey for anyone seeking a captivating respite from reality. The extended versions truly breathe life into J.R.R. Tolkien's masterpieces, transporting viewers to the breathtaking landscapes of Middle-earth and immersing them in the awe-inspiring battles against sinister forces.

In the middle chapter of this historic movie trilogy, the Fellowship is broken, but its quest to destroy the One Ring continues. For more about The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy and the The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy Blu-ray release, see the The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy Blu-ray Review published by Kenneth Brown on June 17, 2011 where this Blu-ray release scored 5.0 out of 5. The Maps in LOTR of Middle Earth never looked so sharp, and neither have the shots of the ‘One Ring’ with carved inscriptions that are incredibly detailed, beautifully luminous, and perfectly legible (if you could read Elvish tengwar – if not, Galadriel provides the translation). Before you start the color correction, you'll need to rip the movie to your computer. So hook up your Blu-Ray drive and install MakeMKV before continuing. The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy Blu-ray comes close to perfection with top scores all around making it one of the best Blu-ray's ever

No special features. Disc 20 – The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers – Extended Version, Part 1 (4K UHD) Another audio moment is when the Fellowship attempts to take the Pass of Caradhras over the Misty Mountains but are ambushed by Saruman. The sounds of lightning, winds, and snow avalanches provide a good Atmos experience, especially in the subwoofer range. No special features. Disc 26 – The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King – Extended Version, Part 1 (4K UHD)

The thing with 4K is not just to go for pristine sharpness,” he says, “it is to preserve the cinematic look of it at the same time as everything becoming crisp.” Note that this should be in 16x9 widescreen, but instead it’s been incorrectly authored in squeezed 4x3. (Oops.) Disc 24 – The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers – Extended Version, Part 2 (BD) Extended Edition Blu-ray boxed set, and the whopping Middle Earth Ultimate Collector's Edition) are each a little disappointing in one way or another, this split between two discs apiece. An even more lavish trilogy collection -- with the possibility of brand-new extras -- is planned for release
