About this deal

The dual output ports of this power bank let you charge two devices at the same time without affecting the charging speed. There are two output ports in this device such as a USB port and one USB-C type port. One of the standout features of this charger is its size and capacity. With a 26800 mAh battery capacity, it can charge my smartphone and tablet multiple times on a single charge, and it can even power up my laptop in a pinch. It's perfect for long flights, road trips, or any time when I need to stay connected on the go. One minor downside is that the charger is a bit heavy and bulky, but given its large capacity and multiple ports, this is to be expected.

Pass-through charging is not supported, meaning you can't charge other devices while the PowerCore+ is being charged. You can, however, charge devices connected to all three of the PowerCore's ports simultaneously. Performance and Conclusions

Customer reviews

This powerbank from Anker is currently the „biggest beast“ sold by Anker. I bought it specifically for traveling to: Power delivery and PowerIQ technology combine together to provide you with the fastest charging possible. Anker has released many power bank series over time such as Anker PowerCore, Anker PowerCore+, Anker PowerCore ll, Anker Astro, Anker PowerWave, Anker PowerCore Lite, Anker Redux, and so on. The three USB ports are also a great feature, allowing me to charge multiple devices at once. I've used it to charge my phone, tablet, and laptop all at the same time, without any drop in charging speed. The build quality of this PowerCore+ 26800 portable charger is very good because it comes from Anker’s PowerCore+ line which generally has a better build. The better build means that this entire power bank is made of Aluminum, while regular Anker power banks (Not PowerCore+ ones) are simply made of plastic. Tech:

Also, the three LEDs at the side will keep you informed about the battery status of the power bank. It includes a total of three ports for different usages such as one 27W USB-C Power Delivery port, one 15W USB PowerIQ 2.0 port, and one 10W USB PowerIQ port. If you want to charge let’s say 3 devices at the same time, then there might be some instances when a typical power bank won’t have three ports, or they won’t have the capability of simultaneous charging. At that time you would need to buy a power bank with 3 or 4 charging ports. That capacity and performance comes with a tradeoff: size and weight. The Power Core 26800 measures 7 x 3.1 x 0.9 inch and weighs 500 grams. In this case and for me, convenience and capacity trumps size and weight.

With its 26,800mAh of battery capacity, the PowerCore+ kept a MacBook running for 9 hours, 17 minutes when streaming video over Wi-Fi at maximum screen brightness. That's enough power to get you through a full day of work, if not quite as much as the 30,000mAh iMuto X6 Pro (11 hours, 43 minutes). It's longer than you get with the 22,000mAh Mophie Powerstation AC (7 hours, 15 minutes), though that battery has an AC port you can use to charge non USB-C laptops. On top of that, the power bank itself charges 2x faster with the help of the included charger. The power bank will be fully charged in 6.5 hours which is quite decent given its high charge holding capacity. Some of the portable chargers are capable of even charging your laptops, so it becomes handy when you are traveling or hiking.
