This is Instax's most creative instant camera that gives you more control over how your picture looks compared to any other in its range. On test, it took clear photos in most lights and printed within 15 seconds (although they rook two minutes to fully develop). EXPOSURE – Adjust the brightness of the image when you shoot a too bright, too dark, or high-contrast subject. Taking an image is a very simple process – just like the SQ10, there’s no option to change any of the settings, such as ISO, shutter speed or aperture, you simply point and shoot. There’s no viewfinder here, so you’ll be using the screen to compose your images. The screen size has been reduced both in terms of resolution and physical size when compared to the SQ20 – it’s now just 2.7-inches, with 230k-dot resolution (compared with 3-inches and 460k-dot). It’s safe to say that it’s not the best screen on the market but it does a sufficient job at helping you frame your shot. When you select 2 SEC :- When you press the shutter button, the AF-assist illuminator/Self timer lamp flashes. Battery charging is another updated feature of sq20. This camera has built-in battery so you just need to charge the battery to use the camera. There is no separate battery to charge like the sq10. You can not remove the battery from the camera. When you buy a brand new camera, the battery is not charged fully at shipment. So make sure to charge it before using the camera.That said, printed shots are reasonably pleasing, with a decent amount of warmth and depth and with a decent impression of detail at this small size. Images tend to come out a little darker than the appear on the screen, which is something to watch out for if you’re printing something which lots of shadow detail. Edit an image file after copying or moving it to a hard disk. Avoid editing an original image file. USB port – You need USB port yo charge the camera. You get a charger cable with the sq20 camera to charge the camera. You can take around 100 picture 100% battery charge. Another use of the USB is that you can transfer the photo to pc or smartphone. A second switch at the top of the camera opens the film tray, with a safety release that stops you accidentally opening it and ruining any remaining film inside the camera. The SQ20 is capable of recording up to 50 images / 30 seconds of video with its built-in memory whereas the LiPlay can record 45 images. Of course you can increase this number by inserting a memory card.

If you like the idea of “hybrid” photography, then another option you might want to consider is purchasing the Fujifilm Instax SP-3, which is a printer that can be used to print a photo from your phone or digital camera. Naturally, the digital file will be of a better quality and it saves you having to take two different shots to get the best of both worlds. Charge the battery using the supplied USB cable. Charging times will increase at ambient temperatures below +10 °C or above +35 °C. Do not attempt to charge the battery at temperatures above +40 °C; at temperatures below +5 °C, the battery will not charge. The battery does not however need to be fully discharged before charging.Step Three- Select 10 SEC or 2 SEC, then press the MENU/OK button. You will get two different timer to use that is awesome. If you like creating collages or playing around with extra features like a self timer or bulb mode, the SQ20 is the one for you. The same goes if you prefer larger prints to smaller ones. If however you would prefer to use your Instax camera as complement to your smartphone, the LiPlay may be the better choice. If you select ON, the AF-assist illuminator lights up while focusing to assist auto focus when it is dark. So when the memory becomes full, the shutter will not release and you cannot take a picture.
