About this deal

The blade has a 40 tooth Tungsten carbide-tipped blade. The blade diameter is 260mm. It has a decent size that makes it powerful enough to cut through large piles. Max cutting depth Taking the saw out of its box, with the exception of some fine-tuning to the blades set point, the only assembly required before the saw can be used is fitting the riving knife and clipping the blade guard into place. There is almost no vibration on the blade and the measurements printed on the saw are close to spot on.

Walking into a store the MLT 100 will definitely draw your attention. Largely covered in the brands signature blue, you don’t need to be a power tool connoisseur to be able to identify this saw from across a room as a Makita. Beyond the Makita decals, you will also notice the type of well-built machine that consumers have come to expect from the brand despite the fact that the saw was developed as a cost-effective alternative to the Makita 2704. Safety comes in the form of an electric brake. The guard is removable without using a tool. The table saw comes with a soft start and dust collection feature. The cost is not ideal for users running under a tight budget. Pros The blade can sit at a 90-degree cutting angle and cut down to 93mm. The angle is adjusted from -0.5 to 45.5 degrees. When it is at 45 degrees, it goes down to 64mm. Accurate cutting

In cases where it is, however, you’ll be better off using a tool designed for making accurate miter cuts like the Metabo KGS 254 M. Who was this saw made for? The height adjustment action is of the smoothest and most effortless that I’ve experienced on a saw in the MLT 100‘s price range. The Makita mlt100 table saw makes noise, especially when starting, whereas 2704 does not make vibrations. The maximum cutting height at 90 degrees is 93mm. When it is at 45 degrees, it runs up to 64mm. Amp motor For hobbyists, the situation is very much the same with the only real difference being that as hobbyists, we try and scale down a bit from the large, high powered cabinet saws often used by professionals.

Considering the cost-effective component of this saw’s development it’s no surprise that it is not without its flaws and while cutting is when you will notice most of them. One such saw is the Makita MLT 100. A saw that I have been using for over a year now and today I will write my detailed and honest review of this Makita product. First glance – Why I bought it The fence of the Makita mlt100 has alignment problems, whereas the fence system of 2704 is accurate. The 1650 Watt motor makes 4800 rotations per minute. It is powerful enough to increase the speed of the machine. That is why it makes you complete a task in a short period. Pinion fence rails
