The controller can still operate as normal if there is no load directly connected to it. This kit alsoincludes 2m positive and negative 35mm 2 tinned copper battery cables with loose ring terminals for connecting the inverter to the battery bank, a 120A fuseor circuit breakerfor use between thehybrid inverter andthe battery bank, 10m solar extension cable with MC4 connectors to connect to the existing 1m of solar cable fitted to the solar panels, a pair of T-branch MC4 connectors for connecting thesolar panels (see wiring diagram),a solar isolator switchand metal plate connectorsfor connection of the battery bank. This panel also features innovative 5 busbar solar cells, which are more efficient than the2, 3 or 4busbar solar cells used in most other solar panels, and are able to extract more power from the same surface area. This results in a smaller overall solar panel, which is ideal for applications where space is limited.
