So We have made this (Quran) easy in your own tongue, only that you may give glad tidings to those who are God-conscious and warn with it the most quarrelsome people.} ( 19:97) Translation Challenges The structure of the Arabic Quran lends itself to memorization unlike any other book. The book was written by Mufti A H Elias, a renowned Islamic scholar and author. Elias has a deep understanding of the Quraan and its teachings. He is also a gifted communicator and can explain complex religious concepts in a way that is easy to understand. In an attempt to do the Word of God justice, many scholars have chosen very sophisticated English vocabulary to offer the best interpretation possible. But my kindle had many spelling mistakes , poor formatting which made it hard to differ the actual Quran text ca the accompanying commentary ( explanation to what the verse meant ) - this caused the biggest problem to me - because much of the commentary should have added sources or references like authentic Hadith as to how the author came to his conclusion in his interpretations of the Quran - because am sure many Muslim respected scholars will not unanimously agree with it - and myself from the study I’ve done - and that’s a big problem because many would be looking to this as guidance for the first time especially considering the title of this book...

A man heard another man reciting: ‘Say: He is God, the One” (Sura 112 Ikhlas) and he was repeating it. The next morning he came to God’s Apostle and mentioned the whole story to him as if he regarded the recitation of that Sura as insufficient. On that, God’s Apostle said, “By Him in Whose Hand my soul is! That (Sura) equals one-third of the Quran.” Whilst I appreciate this authors effort in this work ( and may God reward him for it ) - unfortunately it is t the best of translations I have come across - especially if someone is new and reading the Quran to understand its meaning for the first time If you want to learn more about the Quraan, I highly recommend Quraan Made Easy. It is an excellent resource that can help you to deepen your understanding of this sacred text. Mufti A H Elias’s work in writing this book is tremendous. It is a valuable resource for anyone who wants to learn more about the Quraan.If the Word of God was stated only in very simple language, its application in a wide variety of cultures, eras, and fields of study would be extremely limited; so again, God balanced His Book between simplicity and complexity to serve the needs of all humanity at the same time. Deep and Simple Quraan Made Easy is an essential resource for anyone who wants to learn more about Quraan. The book is perfect for Muslims who are looking for a deeper understanding of their faith, as well as for non-Muslims who are interested in learning more about Islam. For those of us who are not experts in the Arabic language, and even for those who are, a commentary is offered to clarify parts that may be misunderstood and to give opportunities to reflect on some of the meanings.
