About this deal

Is this super noticable or is it something you’d only truly notice if you were putting heavy heavy use into the machine? To start sewing your project you just need to press the Start button on the front, if you want to select the reverse stitch option, the button for this is the one in the center with the U shape. To be honest, I didn’t think the Brother CS7000i was much of an improvement over the CS6000i, but I do think Brother is heading in the right direction with the CS7000X. I want to clear up exactly what computerized features you’ll find on the Brother CP60X so you’re not in for a surprise!

Brother CS5055 Review | Tested by GearLab Brother CS5055 Review | Tested by GearLab

Doesn’t have other sophisticated sewing machine features such as an automatic thread cutter, knee lifting, automatic reverse/reinforcement stitching, and others. If you're a little more advanced in your sewing projects, the Brother HC1850 costs a bit more but has a lot of precision and added features that make it one of our all-time favorite models. Now, if you plan to sew thick fabrics regularly, the Brother CS7000X is not the best choice for you. With exceptional features such as Digitizing, Cross Stitching, and Portrait Conversion, the Artspira+ Subscription Plan has something for everyone.

Brother CS7000X Computerized Sewing and Quilting Machine, 70 Brother CS7000X Computerized Sewing and Quilting Machine, 70

The Brother CS7000X is another really excellent machine with above-average performance for not too much more than this one. If you forget about holding tightly to the top thread, it will slip out of the needle, and you have to do everything all over again. However, like most Brother machines we tested, the CS7000X tends to jump at the start of a buttonhole, placing stitches up to a quarter inch away from the buttonhole itself.

Based on my experience using the Brother cp100x vs cs7000x, I have compiled a list of pros and cons for each machine to help you make an informed decision. Scoring above average in our sewing tests, this Brother CS5055 showed great results on most fabrics using the straight, zig-zag, and blind hem stitches. If you don’t think you’ll be sewing, monogramming, or quilting extensively, there’s no need to purchase a top-of-the-line sewing machine. The differences between them are fairly minimal as well, although the cs6000i does have more specific online support available right now (YouTube videos and other tutorials) whereas the cs7000x has just made its debut into the sewing world! I think the 4 machines you mention are some of the best options out there and are beginner-friendly!

Brother CS7000X Review (Comparing Vs CS7000i)

Instructions for threading the upper thread and the bobbin are included on the body of the machine, too, if you sew infrequently and forget between sessions. They mostly just differ in the number/type of stitches, so you can choose which has the options that most appeal to you. Speed slider to control the max sewing speed–it’s a great feature for heavy-footed sewists or kids learning to sew for the first time! More often, it’s using the wrong needle, threading the machine wrong, needing to clean the parts, etc. This makes it easier to achieve professional-quality results and ensures that your sewing projects look their best.Even the buttonhole set-up is easy, and best of all, the machine stops sewing when the end of the buttonhole is reached.
