The town will go head-to-head with Cranbrook, Epping Forest, Marlow, St Albans and Windsor later this year when the contest is put to public vote. The public vote got under way on January 28, with Guildford up against Cranbrook, Epping Forest, Marlow, St Albans and Windsor. The images, released by fine art publisher Washington Green, are said to provide “a rare insight into his life” and demonstrate his artistic skill and imagination.These include the likes of the Electric Theatre and Guildford railway station, with 28 recognisable places taking over the from the game's original iconic London landmarks.
