If you do want to machine wash the pillow please do so on the gentlest cycle available and leave to dry naturally or tumble dry on the lowest possible heat setting. I suffer with chronic neck pain from a previous car accident and this pillow has helped me get comfortable at night. In the past year, I have really struggled with sleeping, waking in the night with headaches, and suffering neck pain during the day. We actually put a ‘Do not wash’ label on the pillows to stop people just chucking them in the washing machine on any old cycle as some washing machine cycles can redistribute the filling around the internal ties in a way that adversely affects the performance of the pillow. It’s the ideal pillow for reading in bed but it’s also great for using on the sofa; actually whenever you feel your posture needs a little more security you should reach for the Gx Support Pillow. and to our amazement we have had some goodnight sleep at first took some getting used to because of the softness. I then purchased a further 2 more because I liked them so much and there are no other pillows on the market like them.
