The idea is to read a section you feel is relevant to you and then revisit the other topics at a later date when they are relatable. It was in fact a handbook on clinical medicine that inspired the author to create a detailed guide on the various spiritual conditions one can be afflicted with. I took my time reading it making sure I self reflect – this book has helped on realising what I need to work on and also the importance of self purification. Most illnesses that we have today emanate from diseases of the heart, therefore it’s essential to try and rectify the unseen realms of our hearts and exert maximum efforts in self-purification. However, not all literal translation represents the exact meaning of the word since the Qur'an uses varied Arabic language style and sometimes metaphor.

Well 2 points for the effort and it states the obvious i thought that this book will contain more in depth details and philosophy but it is a very good book for teenagers that we need to attract them and make them learn more about our religion. I am very pleased with the product (I got the ebook), and would highly recommend the book to my family and friends. My most favourite element of the handbook was the sections highlighting the exceptions of each illness. Making this science accessible to a new generation is of utmost importance especially in times of a spiritual vacuum.I needed to address the struggles and insecurities we all face and offer the antidotes to those ailments, using evidence from the Qurān and authentic ahādīth (Prophetic sayings). Their generosity of heart, compassion for those less fortunate, and raising us to be confident in our Muslim identity served as the backdrop to our upbringing.
