About this deal

This line is highly detailed, on-trend with the current automotive scene, and available to anyone (meaning no membership required). Thus far, the RLC line has been a mediocre experience for me at best, not due to the cars themselves, but because of the complete lack of care from the people who manage RLC. The Land Rover Series III Pickup is a Hot Wheels casting, based on the real-life Land Rover Series III Pickup which was produced from 1971 to 1985. Color-wise, blue and red adorns the majority of the exterior, while individualized white woven and screened brand patches are found on the forefront, cementing the triple collaboration. Down the road, there are even more exciting cars, including all-new Elite 64 releases of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL with opening gullwing doors and a vintage racing design; a Modified ‘69 Ford Mustang with removable hood, outfitted for GT racing; and a Lamborghini Aventador with a Liberty Walk body kit and removable bumper to expose the engine.

All castings feature multiple separate parts for added detail, bespoke Real Rider wheels specific to each car and may feature removable or opening parts. We'll see how this plays out, as without a membership there's going to be a whole lot more produced and with some quality issues slipping even with the 30k produced RLC, I hope the attention to quality doesn't get pushed aside. The Range Rover is a four-wheel drive off-road SUV designed by Spen King, Gordon Bashford and David Bache and produced from 1970 through 1996.

For 2023, the Hot Wheels mainline is numbered 1 through 250 with color variations not receiving a new number. Definitely a typo in the article, it's marked on the calendrer to go on sale next Tuesday, December 6th at 9:00am (PST), so regular RLC sale time. Our team made our Elite 64 series version even better by putting each wheel on its own axle, allowing us to achieve a slight negative camber for the first time EVER on Hot Wheels car.

Am interested in the future of this line and with the build and process getting more complicated, more than ever I'd love to know about the inspirations and work/limitations/considerations dedicated to realizing these products. It’s every kid’s dream to bring their favorite Hot Wheels to life, mine was the Land Rover Defender — a vehicle that has played an integral role in road trips with Herschel over the last ten years,” said Cormack. Also interested in seeing where this line will fit in parallel to RLC, but I think for now the standards are set.The original planned release was in November, so I think this article was written back at that time. The Land Rover 90 Defender was the 2-door short-wheelbase version of the Defender with the aforementioned 110 model being the long-wheelbase version. I truly hope they put the quality and detail that they are “Promising” into this lineup, and actually stick with it. Even the smallest elements, like rearview mirrors and headlights (not normally crafted separately), are featured on some of the vehicles. It replaced the Land Rover New Defender in the 2021 lineup, after a last minute cancellation for unknown reasons.

All feature the metal body/chassis construction and the deco you expect in other Hot Wheels Premium die-cast, but this series was also engineered with more parts than we’ve ever used before —some of them with more than 20 pieces! In addition to its special project with Modernica, Herschel Supply continues its decade-old anniversary products, this time with Hot Wheels and iconic off-road car manufacturer Land Rover. A Settlement backpack and Tool Kit make up the soft goods; both show off a bespoke Land Rover print scheme, while two-tone webbing handles gives the products a bit of definition.

Built to take a bashing, this 1/2 pickup, 1/2 tractor four-wheel drive vehicle rides on a rugged leaf spring suspension. Groundbreaking styling and a rear roof spoiler combine with advanced technology in this luxurious SUV! It will go an entirely different direction and I highly doubt the quality will reach Inno or Tarmac. Designed and built to conquer any climate or terrain, the Defender 90's rugged suspension and full-time 4WD was the vehicle of choice for those whose spirit of adventure led them off the paved roads. RLC gets spectraflame and "traditional Hot Wheels style" and Elite 64 will give a more realistic model (no doubt rivaling Mini GT / Inno64 / Tarmac Works as the "higher end" 1:64 diecast brands).
