About this deal

We invest in our practices to ensure we are providing the best patient experience, with care delivered by a friendly, high trained team. By the mid-18th century it had developed a reputation as a notorious nexus of destitution and crime – becoming known as the ‘Rat’s Nest’ Rookery, the worst slum in London. Despite their proximity, affordable rent units won’t be built to the same standards of space or build quality as their multi-million-pound neighbours; but that isn’t likely to bring them any closer within the reach of the 5,500 people on Camden’s housing waiting list (down from 27,000 in 2014 since the 2011 Localism Act allowed councils to change the criteria for qualification) or the nearly 1,300 people that are homeless in the borough. The open front-of-house stair extends from ground to second floor, providing a generous promenade to the first-floor restaurant over a slender steel bridge, as well as access to the unit’s upper-first-floor WCs.

Extras like batteries, good cleaning products and the Christmas tree set up were lovely touches and show that you have really thought about your guests wants and needs.

The kitchen-diner is located in the old bank vault at the back of the building and has little natural light so is consequently a little gloomy. There was noise from the main road with large trucks, but you don't realise it after a while and it did not put us off. The odd short-term tenant is nothing to worry about, of course — life throws all sorts of things at us, after all — but it’s always heartening to see a property whose owners have consistently kept hold of the place.

The spacious home is being marketed by Mundy’s and boasts a number of original features, according to its listing. Twenty-three men in robes of scarlet and blue assemble to hear the most sensitive intelligence from Istanbul: the Ottoman Sultan, the 'Grand Turk', has everything he needs to wage total war. His first book, In the Rose Garden of the Martyrs: A Memoir of Iran, was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature’s Ondaatje Prize. For the Sultan’s Venetian fixer, Gritti, it ends with him being brutally executed by the locals in Transylvania where he was Suleyman’s representative and where Suleyman left him to his fate. Please remember that the submission of any material is governed by our Terms and Conditions and by submitting material you confirm your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. The Lion House used to be a popular wedding and event venue due to its outdoor garden area and historic décor.

The author's writing style was not my thing and the information I did obtain wasn't all that clear to me. Angell, Young's brother-in-law, by his first wife Mary Ann Angell, and designer of the Salt Lake City Temple, was also involved in the design of this home. This meant that I felt as though I came away from this book knowing much more about the personality of those three than I did about Suleyman.Maybe I need to give it another try when I’m covid free but wasn’t a fan of this story after reading such wonderful reviews. When a ruler died, the question was, which of his sons by various mothers would succeed; the successful candidate usually disposed of his brothers. We also get to see the other side of Suleyman - his love for Hurrem and his strong ties to Ibrahim, which do not hold him back from tough choices though. I listened to an interesting episode on Suleyman not long ago on the BBC’s The Forum, which would go well with this book - https://www.
