After trying the products from MooseHead, I will definitely add them to my daily hair routine as the quality and the finish is excellent. This product contains bits of grits that help to hold the hair firm, personally I haven’t seen those grits in my hair and this is great because it could look like dandruff.

You know that I spoke before about the smell of the products and without trying them, the Moosehead products conquered me. With a red lid and a cocoa-butter and chocolate smell, this one works well for a quick styling keeping shape.With bright yet slick packaging (embossed with antlers to signify dominance and distinction) they look edgier than many rival brands. Only you will know if it’ll be the perfect present for an older Dad or Grandad, or a younger hipster riding the vintage bandwagon.

I just got this yesterday so maybe I'm jumping the gun a little bit when I tell you how much i LOVE this stuff! If you’re only looking to keep small amounts of hair in place then this is probably the product for you. This week I have had the opportunity to try some Moosehead Wax that I received for Valentine's day from Brand Nation . Happily, there was no evidence of any ‘sediment’ and the added beeswax seemed to ensure the promised matte finish as well as strong hold. This is the first time that I have used some of the Moosehead products, but I have seen them in so many places and blogs.For me what makes this product a good choice is that it does not give you a greasy appearance, it leaves a matte finish lifting your hair and creating a texture that holds your hair perfectly. I had my other half try two of the four MooseHead styling products: the Gritty Styling Clay and the Shaping Dough. With a green lid and a citrus smell, this Moosehead wax is the smoothest one of the four which make it perfect for a natural look. Both are worked into damp or dry hair by applying just a small amount to the palms and swerve that unfashionably nineties wet-look that hair gel can create.

When I thought about it, I realised that I had a completely different hair style the last time I used a clay. My other half felt the grainy styling clay was best-suited to sticky up styles whilst the second pot he tested, MooseHead shaping dough was ideal for slicker, smoother looks. Since 2011 I’ve been the main carer for my two daughters and run the household while my wife has worked full-time. Marked a 4 out of 5 in the holding stakes, the red potted shaping dough, like the clay (despite being rated slightly lower) held my man’s style for the duration.Back then it was a ruffled, messy look and I think that’s the kind of style this product would work well with. I was given the opportunity to test two of its hair care products; shaping dough and gritty styling clay. It is a smooth wax, which is perfect to spread over your fingers before applying to your hair and it does not dry out which means that you can re-work your hair for the entire day.
