I do not know if it is a design issue with the bender not been able to smooth the mixture but the smooth soups all come out like that so the only way we could get it properly smooth was with a hand blender, we generally just put it on chunky soup and then if we need to blend it use a hand blender. Or when you cook pasta and it burns because you have left it on too long and the pasta has been starved of liquid. The end result is that you have this incredibly tasty vegetable soup full of cheese and you will want to eat more and more of it. To me it feels like a remedy against flu and cold bugs and it always makes me feel so good afterwards. The idea is that its one of those hearty soups that will make you feel better when you are under the weather.

It is not like a saucepan on the hob where you just reheat it, what it does instead is cooks it, leaving you with burnt over cooked soup.

This is my first ever winter eating pumpkin so it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t include some pumpkin soup.
