Jill Mansell is a incredibly talented author who has delivered flawless books over and over again and her latest novel Promise Me is no exception. It was solid and square, with symmetrical rows of six-paned sash windows on three levels, a silver-grey slate roof, wisteria climbing up the walls and impressive stone pillars flanking the front door.

Het was lang geleden dat ik een feelgood had gelezen en wat heb ik ervan genoten om het wel te doen! What I love about Joll Mansell'S books is that they are always a real rollercoaster ride of friendship, loyalty and lovely romance. The man, taken by surprise by the sudden tug backwards, lost his balance and fell to the ground, the bag flinging its contents around him.Dit boek heeft me laten zien dat het erg jammer is om om die reden een heel genre af te serveren, want er zijn nog zoveel andere thema's (zoals het vormen van een zelfgekozen familie in dit boek voor mij de hoofdlijn vormt). The new year can now officially begin, because we have a brand spanking new read from Jill Mansell to devour. Each character had a side story cleverly interwoven within the main story and I felt so many emotions throughout this book! Jill has always been one of my favourite authors and I personally think Promise Me is her best book to date!

There are many different characters and storylines to get accustomed to that I am not actually sure who the main character was supposed to be even though the story is apparently about Lou. It just went to show, you never knew when one seemingly insignificant action might cause another that was capable of changing your life.Deze zijn realistisch en geloofwaardig en als professional in het vakgebied kan ik zeggen dat dat vaak anders is.
