This cookbook was written with Sims 4 players in mind and that's fine but I'm not sure I would have bought it had I known that.
On the one hand it's obvious that you need to include it (and I actually support the choice not to try to dress it up as a more elaborate, fancier version), but on the other hand it's kind of an absurd concept. The mod has been around for a while, but since the launch of the Cottage Living Expansion pack, it has had major updates that helped introduce a full list of recipes and incorporate fresh new ingredients into the game.
