About this deal
I’m not a big fan of the magical healing trope as a lot of authors use it to cure characters of something that is usually otherwise incurable (i. There’s so many twists, turns and deception you don’t know who to trust and have faith in, but this makes it all the better! Some things did move a little too fast at times and I would’ve loved to have lingered on certain scenes just to get a better feel for them.

A former English professor, she considers herself lucky to have traded stacks of grading for emotionally charged storytelling. As soon as I saw “Cruel Prince meets A Court of Thorns and Roses” I knew I had to get my grubby little hands on this book (and it did also say “sexy” soo… count me in!
I just have two questions for you lol is there going to be a second book in accidental sex goddess and text appeal?

The writing style was also very easy to follow while being compelling so my attention was quickly gained. Brie’s underdog appeal carries on throughout the story but admittedly she does become rather infuriating.I particularly loved the way we left her character in this book with all she experienced becoming an exposed part of her. I’m not sure if it was the format but inner monologue wasn’t differentiated with the use of italics so that was confusing.

So, incase you can’t tell, I really really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it for all you fae lovers out there! I also liked how real Brie was as a character; the conflict between wanting to save her sister and that sisterly bond and her own needs and wants with her romantic interests made for a really believable character because she isn't perfect.A huge thank you to Hodder and Stoughton, Lexi Ryan and Netgalley for providing an eArc copy in exchange for my honest opinion of These Hollow Vows. Added to that, humans are being sold to fae as slaves and so she can’t help but be disgusted at the idea of fae.
