INCLUDES FIGURE AND POT OF OOZE: the figure includes a pot of gross purple ooze so children can recreate the gruesome, slithery action again and again!
He played with the toy for hours on the day it was delivered and at the moment is still playing with it. When children put purple ooze in the back of the figure, it drips out of the mouth in a gross and sinister symbiote display. The figure did have some smallish black parts that attatched to the body, and sadly these did keep falling off. From our 10yr son : The good points are - it’s fun to play with, very entertaining, cool design, makes him happy when he plays with it, it has fun features, and accurate to the character.The marvel venom ooze figure was larger than I was expecting, 12 inches, I'd not looked at the size beforehand. I was pleased about this as slime products have created quite a mess in our home before so have been designated outdoor toys! Even my 10 year old, who has autism, has spent quite a long time focused on this figure, as he loved that he could interact with the moving parts and pushing in the slime etc. The collector’s will have no issue with this but for those who want to play with it, there are two problems.
TONGUE SWINGS AND SLINGS OOZE: put purple ooze (included) into the back of the figure, then turn a knob on the back to move the figure’s tongue and sling the shiny, symbiotic surprise! I think this is a well made good quality toy but I think it's better for a collector to keep in the box than a child to play with. It's quite scary to look at so I'm not sure it's for younger children but I think older children might've grown out of the squeamish type effects this toy has. The tongue, which you can rotate, rather uselessly flings side to side, not really impacting the slime at all.

Age wise, my 3 boys are 6, 9 and 10, and all throughly enjoyed this, although played in different ways. Larger items, primarily outdoor or ride-on products are shipped directly from Hamleys partners and may take longer to arrive. I don’t follow Marvel characters, but I gather there is a complex link between Spider-Man and Venom character, and I assume this figure is correct for the 2020 series.
