They go out on a date and they both feel a spark of attraction for each other. The only thing not included is the dye, but Rit Dye sells individual colours separately and offers a huge range. We went for aquamarine, but you could buy as many as you like (bearing in mind you have three squeezy bottles). As you can buy liquid dye that comes premixed there’s not too much faff, and we got brilliant colours that lasted well. Alasdair and Sophie make such a sweet couple, I was really rooting for them. I have been reading this series since it began and these books just get better and better. I cannot recommend this series enough. Sophie and Alisdair start dating, and a number of things happen around her and him. They go through the standard "life mate"/"immortal" talk. During the drama, she gets to know Alisdair's family and they all try to figure out why so many people around her get killed. It was not the reason I thought :). My issue was the ending. It felt way too rushed and I also felt like the romance just didn’t have enough connection to it. It just felt like they needed so much more time than they received. I really loved this book and it just felt like they needed a bit more focus to them. I fell very hard for this couple and it just didn’t quite get executed all the way. The villain in this one was not who I was expecting and it kind of threw me. And while I thought the ending was kind of fast, I also appreciate the book not focusing on the bad so much, since this is supposed to be a light and fluffy romance so the stakes can’t be too sharp right?
