A lot of that including her powers causes her to have questionable morals, but she is very strong, brave, and loyal. I squeeze my eyes shut and take a deep breath, my head swirling with all of the emotions I won’t let myself feel but that my bond is writhing with. It starts out with a college student learning how to navigate normal life after spending years on the run, though we don’t know exactly why she was on the run for quite some time.

And it’s not like she just gave into it all at once, each one of the relationships goes about it slightly differently in how they get to that final Bonded stage.August butts up against my leg as though he's reassuring me as well, and Jericho’s eyes flick down to stare at North’s shadow creature as though the Doberman-like creature has come from the depths of hell itself. Will we ever live in the peaceful world we’ve fought so hard for, or is history doomed to repeat itself? Everything I ran from, all of the villains of my past, they’re all here to take another bite out of me. The Bonds that Tie Series is a full-length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. It centers on Oleander - Oli - who has to deal with the repercussions of outing one of her gifts to her bonds and the other gifted. He rolls his eyes and hands them to me without uttering a word, and I decide that I’m keeping him forever. So, while we aren’t following those characters we still have more world-building outside of the relationship of the main group. Can I prove myself and turn the tide to protect our most vulnerable, or am I nothing more than the monster they’ve always claimed I am?He’s also the peacemaker of the group, though he’s more loyal to North, Nox, and Gryph originally than he is to Atlas. There is an animalistic nature to the bonds - the touch them and die possession, the protective nature, the comfort of her bonds scents, and the rage another woman's scent provokes - that I am not sure is typical of all gifted people, or just Oli and her bonds. But Oli is scared that the more powerful she becomes, the more dangerous and uncontrollable she will be, so she is determined to keep her bonds at bay. North: Death Dealer – Controls shadows but they are rabid in comparison to Nox’s shadows and leave behind acid. Atlas: “You could go there naked and I would still worship you… everyone else would just have to die.
