Saw some videos on Youtube about intense smelling better than the original but not having a great longevity. The fragrance feels animalic, light white floral, heavy, imposing, citrusy (because of the orange blossom with a bitter grapefruit-like touch), intense, marine, masculine, musky, playful, rare, rich, salty, sweet, versatile, and pleasant. Theres something in this that reminds me of womanity and also reveal for men, guess its the alcohol and salty metallic notes. This might actually have been the fault of the cheap little sprayer they put on their sample vials (a nice idea, but poorly executed in my opinion).Why would you give a company a bad review when it’s sending you a monthly supply of everything that comes out from their company. Longevity in perfumes refers to the duration of time that a fragrance remains detectable on the skin or in the air after it is applied. But where those fragrances are usually mixed with leather and amber, Invictus Intense has a sea / fruity vibe.

I find them redundant because Invictus is already aquatic and Intense not so intense to start off, smells unoriginal and very simialar to the original. After my shower at night, when I woke up I could still smell this on my wrist where I had sampled it. I could see why these fragrances get a lot of hate being reviewed by people who the fragrance was not targeted for. There are three things one must consider when purchasing a perfume: scent, projection/sillage, and longevity. Perhaps that's because it's unexpectedly less cloying and a bit more "mature" than the others (if that can be said about any of the Invictus line). s. on that one, maybe it’s olfactory fatigue or their skin is dry or their chemistry is just not good with intense.This is my clubbing perfume, sweet and seductive, but most importantly, in a jam packed nightclub with a 100 sweaty people, it still makes me smell good due to its strong sillage and lasts forever.

As the minutes go by, the characteristic laurel note of the first versions is perceived, as well as a salty chord, but with amber always present, as well as a slight liquorous note.

I remember testing this randomly when it was released, after a day the scent stuck on my hoodie sleeve and I couldn’t stop smelling it. Edit: I've changed my mind about this, don't know what was wrong with my nose when I originally tried it. It opens with peppery smell and very little whiskey and gave way to ambery-vanilla sweetness all the way till it turns to salty-ambery-musky skinscent after 14hrs. I think over the years I've gotten more of a like for this version, because when it was first released I liked it less, and now it's harder to get. if i compare it to other ones , OG one is nice but boring , legend one is too strong for me and it smells unpleasent and harsh at the opening so i go for intense.
