They make it a little harder to get a hold of the crown, but that’s something you get used to, and they help keep the crown safe. The dial is decorated with a rippled texture and offers individually applied indexes coated with white Super-Luminova®. If you are familiar with the Ocean Star GMT, you will know the standard case size is 44mm, and when we approached this design, we knew we wanted to try something new.

I'm just a bit surprised to find the timer dial is not perfectly aligned, and the second hand's tail is slightly bent. As I said, this is especially true when looking at the case and bracelet polishing and construction quality. Watches that have symptoms of abnormally gaining time, losing time, or not keeping proper time will be serviced under the warranty program. The Ocean Star was one of the first water-resistant watches and remains a cornerstone of the Mido catalog to this day. At the same time, this technology also improved the reliability of these timepieces by reducing the use of components.

The bracelet and clasp are just gorgeous and just make me feel like I should be on a yacht somewhere with a medallion necklace and chest hair flying. If we are unable to take the outstanding amount on the third instalment, we will follow the same procedure as listed above with two (2) retries and thereafter, if payment is not successful, we may invoice you the remaining amount or follow our debt collection procedures.

The bezel action is very snappy, but it could benefit from a better grip because it’s quite slippery. I know that most people don’t (and shouldn’t) care since the watch will probably see more dinner parties than actual diving, and maybe I’m being an horological neckbeard about it, but a dive watch with a 200M rating should be somewhat bright. It did indeed remind me a bit of the blue Tudor Black Bay 58, and the dial is very similar to what Omega has put into its Seamaster collection for the 75th anniversary.

For more information about how we handle complaints at Klarna, please refer to our complaints handling procedure. The edge is slotted for grip with about a millimeter between each groove so that each wide portion aligns with a minute (not that you need to use that, just an observation on how it aligns). On this particular titanium version, the dial has a sort of matte, textured anthracite color with metallic orange accents.
