After the drydown it becomes a little more interesting because the musk gets more noticeably and it gets less foody and more soapy.After almost a year of trying to get my hands on this perfume oil, I initially felt disappointed by its lack of depth and overly foody scent. update: it has been sitting in my wardrobe for a little over 2 weeks now and suddenly the spicy notes are blooming whenever I spray it which is giving salted caramel vibes (how salted caramel tastes). it is easily still one of my favorite scents tho and I highly recommend it if you like gourmands/fragrances that smell like dessert! Edit: After a couple days the top I sprayed it on is smelling super sweet now, sweet not in a natural gourmand way though, kinda synthetic. I don’t pick up on any of the chocolate notes, just straight vanilla extract, so if you want something more chocolaty and lasts longer, go for the oil.
