Read more I didnt really read many books before I discovered the drama and romance of the Paige Toon novels. I adored this story, it is one of love that you think can’t be had, to be finally allowed it and before you can enjoy your dream coming true losing it in a split second. If you already read Johnny Be Good you’ll be happy to find out that Daisy is actually Paola, Johnny's mysterious runaway PA. She seems to find some comfort in her new job, especially once she gets promoted to be in charge of the two drivers' hospitality needs. You can guess almost from the outset what the ending is going to be but I have to say it’s a very enjoyable journey (particularly if Luis is driving). Meg, the main character in Johnny Be Good dated Lucy's (the main character in Lucy In The Sky) stepbrother in the first book before going to LA; and took the job of Paulo, AKA Daisy, the main character in this book! It felt like I was slowly being given less information or descriptions, and shorter sentences in general. Since the author is clearly incapable of writing an American voice, she should have kept the character British since it would have had no impact on the plot what-so-ever.

Chasing Daisy was the first of Paige Toon's books that I read, and is a somewhat sequel to another of Paige's books, Johnny Be Good. I do love how she can curse and swear at someone in Italian one minute and go completely tongue tied when speaking to someone she’s attracted to the next. Daisy's family are rich and a little strange but I love her grandma she is such a highlight and how she views Luis and Will makes me love her even more he's much better suited to you than the other one. Its hard for Daisy, she doesn’t want to hurt the man she loves, Luis was in love with her when she was grieving over another man, his team mate, his rival, his friend. Having been to a few of the locations myself it is really easy to imagine being back there which just confirms how well Paige has written them.I wanted to montage a bit of Will's part and have spent more time with Daisy and Luis pulling each other from the grief and finding their place together. The only annoying part is where Daisy alias Paola complains so much about being a billionaire’s daughter, making it sound as such a weight to bear… Boohoo! It was obviously a book that was hard to put down, slight plot twists and actions that make you yell 'No! I really liked the prologue and the first few chapters featuring Daisy and Luis; I was ready for a fun, feisty rollercoaster til they got their HEA but then the bulk of the book went on to be about Daisy's relationship with Luis' team mate, Will. Characters felt half finished and certain story lines were let unresolved or were simply unnecessary from the get go.
