About this deal

The T62 offers a maximum of 8km range. As with all radios this is affected by objects in the line of sight, and particularly dense built-up areas. We tested this around our office in a built-up city centre and found we could get up to around 800m before the signal started to drop. As expected, when tested in the countryside this significantly increased, as we were comfortably getting between 3-4km range. In open fields with a clear line of sight you could well get close to the 8km range Motorola claim to offer. Ease of use
