The top of the laptop has the new ASUS logo outline, blown up so that it appears like a clean geometric pattern. The stamped aluminum body feels solidly built, but it's not the best build quality you can get on a laptop. The ZenBook 14 has responsive chiclet keys, and the fingerprint reader is embedded into the power button. It reproduces colors with superb real-life accuracy for professional-grade visuals, making it perfect for professional and creative work, or anyone who simply wants to enjoy the very best color fidelity. The ENVY 14 brings a rare combo of a 16:10 display, GTX 1650 Ti graphics, and microSD slot in a well-built 14-inch chassis with excellent audio and keyboard. Both laptops also have fairly recent chips powering them, so the onboard security for both laptops is acceptable.It’s very awkward to use, because sometimes when you’re trying to type in, say, 4 divided by 2, the trackpad will sometimes correctly interpret your finger stabs, and see a number appear on the calculator, and then the result once you hit the equals sign. These fire sound down, but as they’re set into the edges of the deck, not everything is muffled and absorbed by your desktop, or your lap, or whatever the laptop is on. It has almost everything you would expect from a laptop of this class, although, of course, there are some drawbacks.

The difference may not seem like much, but if portability is very important to you, the ZenBook 14 has the ENVY beat.
