Impra Color is suitable for all soft wood and hard woods e.g. doors, windows, conservatories, beams, eaves, log cabins and any other exterior wooden structure. Color can be used as a stand alone product on new or old bare clean timbers, will require 3-4 coats to produce a surface build for good protection or can be used as a base coat,1 coat followed by 1-2 coats of Impra Elan (top coat) or Impra Profilan top coat.

Impra Elan is a fast drying spirit based top coat for application on timbers treated with Impra Color (base coat) for long term protection against the harsh effects of UV light and weather influence, provides a micro-porous water repellent film which helps maintain the stability of the timber So why not have a go and cheer up those tired pots and old walls as well as your fences and shed. Be adventurous and give your garden a complete make over with this versatile product. Our Green Wood Stain is a soft and mellow green, it was inspired by the much loved British Tree. A beautiful colour on its own or it can be used as a detail wood stain to compliment Spruce or to be partnered with Silver Fir.Although our stains are always thoroughly tested for colour consistency, the perceived colour of the stain once applied may vary depending on the qualities of the wood you are applying it to and the method of application. Viewing colours via screen will also alter the perceived colour of a colour swatch. For this reason we always recommend to try a 50ml sample bottle from our ready to use range prior to purchasing a larger quantity.

Please Note - Colourless does not provide UV protection and is unsuitable for exterior timbers exposed to the weather. Our Village Green concentrate is probably the most versatile wood stain on the market. The dilution ratio of the concentrate can be varied to suit your project. Higher concentrations give a vivid colour finish while lower concentrations make it a very cost-effective, high-coverage product. AG Woodcare offline opening times APPLICATION: SHAKE WELL until all pigments are combined within the bottle before mixing with water at the desired ratio. Rinse out any settled pigments from the bottle into the mixture. Test the colour on an inconspicuous area first, then apply using a brush, roller, sprayer or by dipping. Allow your wood to be dry to the touch before applying additional coats. Drying time is generally 15 mins – 1 hour. Clean up with soap and water. Often 1 coat is enough, but an additional coat can give a richer finish. Water-based stains use water-based finish as the binder and replace most of the organic thinner with water. So these stains pollute less, are less irritating to be around and are easier to clean up than oil or varnish stains. You can identify water-based stains by their thinning and clean-up solvent: water. 4. Advice: 2 coats are recommended with further coats increasing the solidity of the colour. Wood Stain + Protect is a wood stain coating so will wear off over time. If applying Wood Stain + Protect to a garden building that will be subjected to high levels of exposure to weather, it is recommended that you apply Protek Clear Tough Coat as a top coat. Water-based stains require a little more time and effort than oils, but it pays off with significantly greater durability. FINISH: For fencing / sheds etc, this stain is often sufficient enough, however if you do wish to apply a finish, allow 24-48 hours for the stain to fully dry before finishing. Depending on the application, you can finish your stained wood using a wax, oil, varnish or lacquer. PLEASE NOTE: If you require a clear finish, however you want the wood to grey naturally, please use the 701 Clear which contains no UV protection.
