Description

The Tommee Tippee Groclock sleep trainer uses colours and pictures to help children who are too young to read an ordinary clock, to understand when it's time to sleep and when it's time to spring out of bed and play! When DS was five he would go downstairs and watch TV until it was a civilised hour and he knew where the cereal was. We have been looking for a suitable light as most are too bright to be left on all night or have a cut-out time of around 20 minutes , which is not enough. If your kid is likely to play with it, you have to put it up out of their reach where they can still see it. Set alarms, play lullabies, customise the colours and select the desired level of brightness for your child’s room, all from your phone.

The first day I set the clock, I wasn’t 100% sure I had set it right and there was no way to test it beforehand. The Groclock uses fun images of the stars and sun to communicate when to go back to sleep and when it's time to spring out of bed.Even when they can’t yet tell the time they will soon learn when they need to close their eyes and go back to sleep and when it’s okay for them to spring out of bed, ready to play. He knows that it’s not morning until he sees the arrival of the sun on his clock, so hopefully, soon he will learn to stay in bed longer and he can use the images of the stars to see how much longer it is until the morning.

Fortunately, a combination of me telling her it was night-time, a dark bedroom and her Gro Clock all seemed to keep her quiet for another hour (even if I couldn’t get back to sleep). A useful demo mode, running though all the transitions between the stars and the sun, lets you easily show your child how things work. he hasn’t sussed out not leaving the room until this appears but is happy to get back into my bed and go back to sleep if the sun is still sleeping. This sleep aid clock is so easy to set up and use and now you can control everything using our Tommee Tippee app on your smartphone. When Mia was born we bought her a number of Grobag’s which were amazing as Mia could get all snuggled up in bed with us knowing she was sleeping safe and securely. This clever device can be installed in place of a standard light switch without any extra wiring and controlled remotely using the Lightwave App (available for iOS or Android) an. Some mention that it's quite straightforward, while others say that it is not entirely intuitive, it'd be difficult to set up, and the menus aren't user friendly.

Wanting to spread the word to other sleep deprived parents, the founders gave themselves a target of 10 years to get the UK from 0% to 80% baby sleeping bag usage, but managed it in 5. Following the instructions in the pamphlet, I kept trying to get to the setup screen and it seemed to be more luck than judgment when I got it. Some say the clock is effective for the little ones who are good sleepers already, but who like the star. I really want them to achieve this goal and get such an instant sense of achievement because we made it easy for them to do.I also had a friend using one with her 18m old and he had no words at all but understood it when it was explained simply and they were consistent with not getting him up until the clock changed colour. Once they’re asleep you can easily change alarm times, sounds, and brightness levels from the comfort of your sofa - no need to tiptoe into their room and risk waking them up!

A yoto player is great the clock function you set to show night / day but it's also a audio book player, radio and speaker so it has many uses and it used daily in our house DD6 knows when to get out of bed based on the clock face - also a very early riser! We also bought a Gro-egg which we have used right up until very recently to accurately measure the temperature of her bedroom. As a lot of parents do I have been dreading the lighter mornings as it means that the kiddies will be getting up even earlier than before so I started to look for a solution.I've googled my self silly and all I can find is sunrise type lamps that brighten over a period of time. Instead of the normal clock face, the display showing stars which count down throughout the night before switching to the sun in the morning, at a time you choose.
